Bespoke software development
Engispider Custom Software
When the process is yours, the software should be too.
Where a packaged product does not fit, we build the system. ERP, internal tools, integrations and migrations — designed around how your business actually works, on the same Java, Spring Boot, MySQL and React stack as our products.

The portfolio
We can show you thirteen of them.
The usual proof for custom development is a case study you cannot verify. Ours is the rest of this catalogue — systems we designed, built, and still run for paying customers. Open any of them.

The stack
One stack, so anyone can pick it up.
Your system is built on exactly what our own products run on. That matters in year three, when the person who wrote it has moved on and someone else has to change it.

How it runs
Five stages. Each ends with something.
A custom build goes wrong when there is nothing to look at until the end. Every stage here finishes with a thing you can hold, check and reject.
Discovery
We map your current process, the people in it and what actually breaks.
Scope document and a fixed-price estimate
Design & architecture
Screens, data model and system design, reviewed with you before any code.
Clickable designs and a technical architecture
Build
Phase-by-phase delivery — each phase is database, backend and front end, finished and demoable.
Working software at the end of every phase
Deploy & train
Production deployment, data migration from your existing system, and training your team on it.
Live system and a trained team
Support
Ongoing maintenance, updates and enhancements under a support agreement.
Agreed response times and a named contact
Ownership of bespoke code is set out in the contract before work begins. Ask during scoping and we will put the specific terms in writing.
Full service detail
Custom software development
End-to-end development of business systems — requirements through architecture, build, deployment and support. The same stack and engineering conventions behind our own products.
SaaS & multi-tenant platforms
Multi-tenant product development with per-tenant configuration, quotas and isolation enforced server-side — the architecture behind Engispider Site Manager and our Engispider Comms.
Web application development
Web applications designed for operators — the people entering orders, approving fees and checking stock — where speed and clarity matter more than decoration.
Mobile app development
Cross-platform mobile applications on Flutter, including offline-capable operational apps and kiosk builds.
Integrations
Third-party integration work: payment gateways with reconciliation, WhatsApp Business messaging, SMS gateways, accounting systems and biometric devices.
Cloud & DevOps
Containerised deployment, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and database operations on Google Cloud Platform and VPS infrastructure.
Everything in the box
12 capabilities, one subscription.
Discovery, architecture, build, deployment and support — on the same stack our own products run on, which is why any engineer here can pick up any codebase.
What we build
4Custom ERP
A system shaped to your process rather than the other way round.
Internal tools
The line-of-business screens no packaged product covers.
SaaS platforms
Multi-tenant from the first commit, with isolation enforced server-side.
Mobile apps
Flutter on Android and iOS, against the same backend.
Connecting what exists
4System integration
Your current software kept, and made to talk.
Data migration
Records imported, validated and reconciled before cutover.
Payments
Gateways wired in with automatic reconciliation.
WhatsApp, SMS & email
Through our own messaging service, with retries and receipts.
Running it
4Cloud architecture
Sized to your load, not to a brochure.
Containerised deployment
Docker and Kubernetes, reproducible between environments.
CI/CD
A release is a pipeline run, not an evening.
Business intelligence
Dashboards built on the data the system already holds.
Who it is for
Find yourself on this list.
Organisations with a workflow no off-the-shelf product models correctly.
Built for
4A process nothing models
The thing that makes your business yours is usually the thing no packaged product has a screen for.
Software you have outgrown
A system that worked at ten people and is now the reason three of them have a job.
Systems that must talk
Keep what works, connect it properly, and stop exporting a file between two of them every Monday.
Products of your own
Multi-tenant SaaS built the way we build ours — isolation enforced server-side from the first commit.
Talk to us first if
2- — 01
A product in the catalogue nearly fits
Configuring one is faster and cheaper than building. We will tell you when that is the honest answer.
- — 02
The requirement is not settled yet
Discovery can establish it — but a build started before anyone agrees the scope is the most expensive way to find out.
We would rather tell you this is the wrong product than sell you a configuration that fights your process. Where nothing in the catalogue fits, we build the system instead.
Getting it running
Five phases, and you check each one.
How long it takes depends on how much history has to come across and how many sites are involved. You get a phase plan with dates before work starts.
Configuration
Your branches, roles, tax rates, document formats and approval rules — set up against how you work now.
Data migration
Existing records imported from Excel, CSV or a database export, validated, with an error report before anything commits.
Training
Your team trained on the screens they will actually use, on your own data rather than a sample set.
Go-live
Production cutover, with us on hand through the first days of real use.
Support
A support agreement with response times and a named contact, covering fixes, updates and enhancements.
Support hours are Mon–Fri 9:00–18:00 · Sat 9:00–14:00 IST — the same hours in the agreement as on this page.
Start with a scoping call
Before you ask
The six that come up every time.
Answered straight, with no figure we cannot stand behind. The rest are on the full FAQ.
Can I see the software before buying?
Yes. We run a guided demo on a live system with your own scenarios, rather than giving out a self-serve login — our products are multi-tenant deployments where each customer has their own isolated instance. Contact us and we will schedule a demo, usually within two working days.
Can you migrate data from the system we use now?
Yes. Data migration is part of every deployment. We import existing records — students, items, customers, stock, ledgers — from Excel, CSV or a direct database export, validate them, show you an error report before anything is committed, and reconcile the result against your current balances.
How long does a deployment take?
A product deployment typically runs in phases: configuration, data migration, training, then go-live. The length depends on how much historical data has to come across and how many sites are involved. We give a phase plan with dates in the scope document before work starts, and each phase ends with working software you can check.
How is the software priced?
Pricing depends on the product, the number of users or outlets, and whether you need custom work on top. We quote per project after a scoping conversation rather than publishing a rate card, because a single-outlet cafe and a twelve-college group need very different things. Contact us for a quote.
Is our data kept separate from other customers?
Yes. Our multi-tenant products scope every record to an organisation identifier taken from the authenticated session and enforced on the server for every query, so no request can read another tenant’s data. Where a customer requires it, we also deploy a dedicated instance.
What happens after go-live?
Support continues under an agreement that sets out response times and a named contact. That covers bug fixes, updates and enhancements. Our support hours are Monday to Friday 9:00–18:00 and Saturday 9:00–14:00 IST.
